Flight to Paro offers panoramic views of the highest mountains of the world and other Himalayan peaks, including the sacred Mt. Chomolhari and Mt. Jichudrakey in Bhutan are simply awesome.On arrival in Paro international airport you will be received by our guide and a driver and transfer to Thimphu, capital city by taxi, if you wish we can provide you private transportation throughout the trip. You may experience local if you travel by taxi. On arrival in Thimphu, drive to your assigned homestay and have authentic Bhutanese lunch. Later in the afternoon visit memorial chorten and we will take a cap to Buddha viewpoint. Evening walk/drive down and join the family or relax.

Today we will take a private car since from some places it is difficult to get a cab. In the morning you will visit the Changangkha Lhakhang, Painting School,Textile Musuem, the Folk Heritage Museum, and lunch. After lunch we will visit the Takin’s Zoo and walk through the Craft Bazaar. In the evening join the family or relax.
Overnight in Thimphu
In the morning we will drive towards Punakha. We will take a cap and enjoy typical local luxury, chatting with locals on the cab (if you are alone). By the time you are on board, you will feel that you are already in Punakha. If you have any difficulty for creating conversation with locals, your guide will translate for you. We will directly drive to our homestay once we reach Punakha. Enjoy the evening with the family.

Today, you will join the seasonal farm works with farmers and try if we can help them in our own way. If not we will enjoy sharing stories, walking around and meeting people. If you wish we will organize white river rafting in Punakha.
Overnight in Punakha
Today we will visit the majestic Punakha Dzong. After Punakha Dzong we will drive to Ngezegang and hike up to khamsum Yulley Namgyel chorten for 30 minutes. After lunch we will drive towards wolakha and hike up for 20 minutes to Chimi Lhakhang. After that you will visit the Sangchhen Dorji Lhendup Nunnery. In the evening relax at the homestay and enjoy the home cooked meal.
Overnight in Punakha
Since we don’t get public transportation easily from here until we get back to Paro, we will provide you private cap. After our delicious breakfast, we will check out from the farm house in Punakha and visit majestic Punakha Dzong and hike to Chimi Lhakahng. The drive will accompany with several stops until we reach Jakar, valley of white bird. The drive will pass though few passes before reaching Jakar, namely Pelela at 3300m, Yotongla at 3400m and kikela.

Today you will explore Jakar, valley blessed with many religious sites, temples, farm lands and many more. You will join the typical Bhutanese family and join them for the rest of the day. This will be followed by evening cultural program by the villagers at the farmhouse in their own traditional way. You may enjoy listening or join them to singing before going to the bed.

Today we will drive further to Tang, one of the four valleys which forms Bumthang district. Tang is blessed with fertile farmland, unique tradition and the place where the only Bhutanese saint by birth was brought up. We still treasure his discoveries of many religious artifacts, teaching and spreading of Buddhism as far as to the eastern districts of Bhutan. Here you will enjoy archery and darts with locals.

Check out from the farm house and drive to Trongsa. En-route, stop at mebartsho to offer prayers. We will stop at Yatha factory in Chumey if you wish to try some woolen products. Our arrival in Trongsa will accompany visiting watchtower which is converted into museum and visiting ancestral home of our royals, the Trongsa Dzong. Evening relax at your hotel.

You will checkout from the hotel after your delicious leisurely breakfast and drive to Phobjikha, valley of black necked cranes. The Black Necked Cranes are one of the endangered birds of the world. This large bird flies from Tibetan plateau to Phobjikha in black mountain region every early winter and goes back in late winter. The valley is also blessed with many different varieties of rhododendrons found in the country. On arrival in the valley, we will join typical Bhutanese family and spend time sharing stories and many more. We will organize complimentary hot stone bath here.

Today you will checkout from the farm house, take about 2 hours hike to the temple before proceeding to Paro. En-route, stop at Dochula to take pictures and visit the café if you wish. On arrival in Paro, we will drive directly to the homestay and you can relax. In the evening will let you experience traditional dress (Gho of men and Kira for women) and let you sit for delicious meals at local restaurant.

Today you will visit Kichu Lhakhang, Dumtse Lhakhang, Drugyal Dzong, visit one of the most beautiful National Museum which gives in-depth knowledge about Bhutan. In the evening walk around paro town and relax.

Today we will take a cap from the farm house to Tiger Nest Temple hiking point. The walk to the temple and back will take almost our entire day. Evening will be followed by a wonderful complementary stone bath at the farm house and delicious local farewell dinner with all drinks available at local restaurant/farmhouse. If the day coincides with party day we will take you to local disco party or else relax at your farmhouse.
